We got great value for our money at this hotel. The room was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was absolutely breathtaking, perched on the hillside with stunning views of the fjord and surrounded by hiking trails. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome and providing us with valuable information about the area.
The only thing that could make the morning meal better would be to have a wider variety of breakfast options.

Absolutely amazing stay! Stunning location with breathtaking views of the fjord. Super helpful staff and a talented chef at the restaurant. Clean, spacious, and well-equipped apartments. Easy access to hiking trails. Enjoyed seeing farm animals and our kids loved feeding a young sheep. Reasonable prices for Norway.
Everything is what i need and want.

This place offers incredible views of the fjord, delicious food in the restaurant, and friendly locals who recommended it. the staff were exceptionally helpful, going above and beyond to track down my lost bag and arrange its delivery. They even assisted with communication since I don't speak Norwegian. a fantastic experience.
Felt extremely welcome, nothing was too much trouble.

Storseterfossen Waterfall: One of the highlights of my stay at Westeras Gard was the stunning Storseterfossen Waterfall. It was absolutely amazing to be able to walk behind the waterfall and experience its power up close. The sight and sound of the cascading water was truly mesmerizing, and it made for a unique and unforgettable experience.
Tricky Road Access: While the overall experience at Westeras Gard was fantastic, I did find that the 1.5km road leading up to the parking area could be a bit challenging, especially for wider vehicles.

The view from our room was absolutely stunning, with beautiful scenery all around. The peace and quiet of the location made it the perfect romantic getaway. We loved the well-equipped kitchen in our apartment, which allowed us to prepare our own meals and enjoy cozy dinners together. Plus, the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, making our stay even more enjoyable.
To our stay. the access road to the hotel was in pretty bad shape, making it a bit difficult to navigate, especially on our motorbikes.

The cabins at Westeras Gard were absolutely charming. The kitchenettes were handy for making a quick cup of coffee in the mornings, and the flat-screen TVs were a nice touch. The private bathrooms with showers were definitely a plus for a light sleeper like me.
I personally found the private terrace in the apartments a bit unnecessary, but I can see how others might enjoy it.

I stayed at Weteras Gard for a week to disconnect from the city, and it was perfect. The cabin had stunning views of the valley and mountains, and the restaurant served delicious food. The hike to the waterfall was challenging, but definitely worth it. The cozy apartment had all the necessary facilities and a porch to soak in the breathtaking scenery. A true countryside experience with a homely restaurant and unbeatable fjord views.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

The view from the location is breathtaking, overlooking the Geiranger fjord. the room above the terrace was cozy and had all the necessary amenities for a longer stay. the owner, Mr Vesteras, was friendly and helpful, providing us with information about the area. the trail to the Vesterasfjellet starts right in front of the room, making it convenient for hiking.
Felt so at home, nothing to complain about.

I had the most incredible stay at this stunning farm high above the town. The views were absolutely breathtaking, and I could have spent hours just admiring them while sipping on my coffee. The cabin I stayed in was cozy and warm, and the staff at Westeras Gard were incredibly hospitable and polite. The dinner they served us was delicious, and I highly recommend trying out their farm food at the restaurant. The hiking trails and waterfall nearby were also a highlight of my stay. I had a wonderful experience and cannot wait to return.
Nothing 🙌
